Editor's Note: Due to spacing problems last week, this letter to the editor was pushed to this week's issue.
I want to commend Sacramento State's students for their remarkable contributions at two campus events I have attended recently.
Their questions truly put the candidates to the test during the Oct. 6 mayoral debate. Last Wednesday's discussion with "Funny in Farsi" author Firoozeh Dumas was equally as informative and enriching. At both events, our students demonstrated once again that we have a campus full of knowledgeable leaders who care about the issues we face today.
These were proud moments for all of us at Sac State. Thank you, students.
