Abstract: The No. 1 fear of college students isn't doing the walk of shame after a night of beer bongs and body shots. No, the real fear is the dreaded freshman 15.
Are you serious? This is a pro-vegan article disguised as a ploy to show people how to not gain the Frosh-15. You do not need to cut meat and dairy out of your diet to not gain weight, or to lose weight, for that matter. Cut out the fried and processed foods, increase your fruit and veggie intake, and limit the SIZE of the portions (meat and dairy included, Rory Veganhead), you eat.
This was a ridiculously one sided article--opinion or not.
This is more of a tree-hugger promotion for breast-milk ice cream than it it an attempt to pose a logical method at avoiding the Freshman 15. it just goes to show that the media will say and print anything to get a headline. Also, it goes to show that, no matter what books this guy has authored, he doesn't know what he's talking about. To avoid the freshman 15, eat in moderation (no potato chip lunches and skip BK), maintain a healthy balanced diet (doesn't mean avoid anything in particular) and exercise. Any dietitian will say the same thing.
Before you print crap like this again, why not interview one of our own professors and get a real story based on facts not Oprah fantasy diets!!!
Well I heard the most crappy food it`s McDonald`s one... Even saw a very very good documentary about it, and people testifying how McD ruined their life...well..they ruined it trough McD.
