Help me figure one out...30 states have passed similar statutes to Prop 8, 52% of Californians are Latino, 30% of California residents are Catholic, 8% of Californians are black...most of which opposed Gay marriage. Yet the Gay community bully the Mormon church which is less than 2% of the California popluation? Come on guys...why don't you fight with a group your own size!

But then what would we fight about...we all have the same marriage rights already. You can marry the same people I can marry...

Attention Liberals! It was not just Evangelocals and Mormons that opposed Prop 8. The base of your party, including Catholics, Hispanics and African-Americans voted down the supposed civil rights issue. Don't you think if Prop 8 was a civil rights issue that African-Americans would opposed the ban instead of 70% supporting the measure?

P.S. Homosexuals are more than welcome to have a heterosexual marriage.

That's right because gays and lesbians should be forced to marry someone of the opposite sex to make YOU and other bigots comfortable.
It must be exhausting to have so much hate and discrimination running through your thoughts...

Can we all grow up and act like adults? It is clear that the gay community does not care what others think as long as they get what they want. We should not back down to threats and intimidation. If the people vote for or against an issue, there opinion should matter. But we know that eventually this will be overturned by some liberal activist judges. That is what happened last time.
Since when do a few overpayed jurists in robes get to determine the law?
I tired of idiots that want to go against the laws of nature and expect us to validate them. Stop crying about Prop 8 and realize you already have every right afforded married couples through cival unions, which more than you should have.

Okay, time for a little education here.
First -- plural possessive is "THEIR," not "there."
Second -- those weren't "liberal activist judges," they were largely conservative judges placed there by Reagan -- do some homework before you post.
Third -- that is the judiciaries job -- to make sure that all laws pass constitutional scrutiny. That is WHY we have three branches of government. The majority does not always rule or only white men would be full and active members of our society.
Hah -- if we have "every right afforded married couples," here's an idea -- you give up YOUR rights to be married and instead get a civil union... after all, they are "equal" right... what... oh, I see -- they just aren't equal enough for you. Ummmhmmm... well, tell you what -- we are not going to stop until we get FULL and EQUAL rights -- that is what being an American is all about.
