What an absolute FAIL on behalf of our governor. Instead of cutting jobs of people who NEED some stream of income, why doesn't he stop paying the legislators and take a pay cut himself? Or better yet, why don't they meet every day until they can agree on something...as it stands, three days of "real" work a week is a bit pathetic.
Yep. This happened to me. I was working 30-40 hours a week at DMV Headquarters before school started, then bam.. Told to Go Home. No warnings, no 1 week notice. I guess this is the part of the school/state contracts that were never addressed concerning being "Furloughed"
I seriously never thought It would be a bad decision to be employed by the state government. Guess its time to find Private sector.
But beyond all this. The Govenor is not to blame. Everyone has targeted him, when its our Legislators falt. The govenor Cannot take a "Pay cut" because he denied to receive any pay as our govenor, remember? Arnold is simply taking advantage of our system in order to Fix the debt problem that we have dug for ourselves.
People always hate to talk about when they are laid off. But as it has become every day's news headline since Yahoo started it with cutting 1500 of its task force last year, now a need of platform has been in demand where people can express their selves in words how they are feeling about their company, whey the got laid off was that justified or not.
