I wonder if you would still have those sentiments when it's your mom or dad that's dying of cancer or has a failed kidney.

We don't have to continue wars or not cure diseases. All we have to do is inhabit a different planet. Maybe Mars, where people could choose to immigrate. Or restrict births to each family to one or two children. Or invent flying cities or something similar.

The point is that our attitudes need to change for the given problem. And the problem is people don't realize that populations are going to start booming soon. people are going to wait until there food and water shortages, or land disparities before they start making a move for change. But yeah, letting people die is not the answer

I agree. But I think that we need to focus on the fact that stupid poor people are the ones doing most of the procreating. So guess don't worry about it. Our species a few generations from now will get to stubid to even survive. Then it will shrink again.
