Abstract:
An unearthly mix of bands competed against each other Monday evening in the University Union Ballroom. The winner took home a $500 gift certificate from Guitar Center, along with about a weeks worth of bragging rights....
What are you talking about, the thomas confession was the best band of the evening, while fate under fire with their glamor attitude helplessly sucked!
I deffinately agree. Half of the people left the the vocalist of Faith Under Fired started screaming like a dying pig! The worse thing that ever happened to my ears. Also Spin 45 could have had little more tellent then The Thomas Confession but their style sucked. I mean people want to hear something new and freash. That's why The Thomas Confession won. It's not only the talent but everything else that judges demanded. So...there is no question that The Thomas Confession earned the first place. Can't wait to hear them again.
Thomas Confession was the most camouflage on the night and I didn't see them placing at all. That was a complete shock. This article isn't so much about the battle of the bands as it is about how many people believed Spin 45 should have won. Fate Under Fire was a Taking Back Sunday ripoff and they didn't even place. This even was completely rigged and everybody knows who the best band on the night was.
