It was a trashy show, but not any moreso then any other reality dating shows. I fully expected this to be a complete crapfest, but it was surprisingly charming. I think it's got it's moments, even if there characters are ridiculous and over the top.

I was mostly surprised by Tila, who often plays the part of a ditz, who came off as well spoken, hip, but still with some intelligent and genuine qualities about her. Sure she wasn't exactly being genuine with the contestants, but she was being true to the viewer even noting when she herself was being too flirty, slutty or mean.

I think TV critics have bashed this show pretty harshly, but only because it drew a big rating. The show is heads above a lot of stuff MTV and VH1 pass off as entertainment, so why hate on this one show? Probably because it's the popular thing to do. Not unlike hating on Miss Ngyuen herself. It's almost as hip as being her Myspace friend.

What a great person to represent Vietnamese people... How sad.

Don't we get enough of Tila on MySpace? I'm not a hater, but she is a total butter face. I refuse to watch that show. It reeks of stupidness (if that was really a word).
