These students are entirely misguided, and demonstrate such limited mental capacity that they likely should not be attending college in the first place.

Current CSUS fees are about $1600. A 4% increase is just $68. If one is not disciplined enough to save an extra $68 every six months, then one likely lacks the discipline to complete a college education and is wasting my tax dollars and their time.

Grants? I have serious difficulty believing anyone who states that they cannot attend a CSU without financial aid. The CSU system is, and will remain, virtually free. If education is one's focus, then one should have no trouble sacrificing fun for four years to complete a degree. Skip the dinners out, the shopping, the nice car...and lose the sense of entitlement. There is no financial aid for life.
