Abstract:
I've just finished watching a commercial from the advertising campaign Above the Influence. You know, those extremely factual commercials that show legit reasons for not smoking weed?...

Nice writing dude. Unfortunately your point of view is at odds with the opinion of the DEA so expect the SWAT teams to be arriving momentarily.

Your only hope is to chant these words repeatedly:
DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD DEA is GOD...

Why stop there? Why not replace booze with the weed? Ah ha.. you don't suppose the whiskey industry has anything to do with continuing the ban on pot do you? Holy cow: think of all the beer cans that would not be used if we did switch over.. but wait.. you don't suppose the beer makers are buying the folks who impose the problems do you.

Don't do weed from Mexico.. the stuff really will kill you. But weed is under the influence of people who don't want that available to the American People, and while you can look at your neighbor and think it is there fault, it probably isn't.

"make the most of the hemp seed and sow it eveywhere"
George Washington - circa 1794

The legalization of Cannabis Sativa-Hemp
would provide great economical and ecological benefits to our great country.
Hemp is one of the best natural sources of paper, fiber, clothing, and even
fuel.

No one has ever died from overdose of marijuana.

Yet we have over 400,000 deaths every year attributed to alcohol or tobacco.
Meanwhile, there are thousand of sick people who are denied access to the most
effective medicine for their ailments, just because that medicine happens to be
marijuana.
Is the war on drugs so sacred that we must sacrifice the medical
marijuana patients who choose to use this valuable medicine?

I use medical marijuana to combat the loss of appetite, depression,
the extreme, constant headaches that come along with Hepatitis C.

I am not a criminal! I would like to see a bill in congress to
appropriate money to the grossly underfunded research having to do
with Hepatitis C.
( an estimated 3.9 million Americans have this disease according to
the CDC.)

Medical marijuana is a good medicine for me because it allows be the
luxury of laughter that helps stimulate the ENDORPHINS which help my
immune functions and help alleiviate the headaches and depression.
I assure you that my marijuana use is responsible and helping me stay
alive.
Please consider the fact that marijuana is one of the safest theraputics
known to man.

Surely we can find a better use for the billions of dollars spent
pursuing and eradicating this useful plant.
Thank You.

legalize everything!!! did you notice that there has been over 440,000 deaths from tabacco and 46,000 deaths form alcohol and zero deaths from marijuana! whats up with that?? Plus they crack down so hard on stopping people from growing and selling weed when they should be stopping meth labs and crack dealers. I mean seriuosly.

You think we could get a Proposition passed legalizing marijuana carte blanche in California?

I mean, the government is worried about possible civil unrest due to the faltering economy, right? Well, if Wall Street can get bailed out by the State, the least the State could do is smoke out the common man.

So what it will it be? A relentless throng? Or hits from the bong?

The choice is yours, America!
