I am a public employee. I realize that a lot of people regard us as lazy and over compensated. This is a fallacy. Government created these jobs to distribute taxpayer dollars to keep the american economy moving. It wasn't until the unions got invoved that republicans started to complain. This meant less money for their cronies as the middle class moved forward. The so called private sector has awarded their ceo's with outrageous salaries and other compensation packages while the middle class worker has continued to earn less and less. We as american workers don't hear about the executive allowances but we sure as heck hear all about the unions that are trying to keep the middle class alive. As it is and always has been, the republicans want all for them and none for the rest. I need to leave now. The more I write the more I want to say. Think folks, and VOTE.

I am so sick this typical & thoughtless socialist rhetoric that has been destroying this country for the past 60 years. Yes, we need saftey nets to help ppl on their feet, but nowadays people are all for themselves and could care less about the country. Each interest group is only interested in their own ethnic group. There is no unity anymore.
What made this country strong was opportunity and the fact that people strived for success. There is still opertunity but, people no longer want to work for prosperity, they expect to be given it at the expense of those who have succeeded.
I often hear people complain about how much CEOs are paid, or how the rich (business owners) need to be taxed harder; and that the reason for the poverty gap flows from these. Americans need to come to their senses, it is not your boss' job to make you rich, this is your job. By striving to suceed you make yourself and the country better.
The truth of the matter is that since the industrial revolution began Americans have wasted their time instead of bettering their lives. It is a known fact that Americans spend the majority of their spare time whatching t.v. instead of pursuing economic success. Yet these same people refuse to examine their own lives, and prefer to blame others for their state of being.
This is the easiest country in the world to become financially free, the problem is humans are creatures of habit and lazy by nature; therefore, they trap themselves into a non productive, lazy, and habitual lifestyle...it's no wonder the poverty level has increased.
If you live in a bad neighborhood this is no ones fault but your own. Stop listening to those around you. Stop blaming others, change your lifestyle...this is the right of passage all successful Americans have taken.

Typical republican retoric. More for them and less for the working class. I often wonder if our fight is just anti republican. I think that all people in so called power only care for their own welfare. Sad but true. Love ya Bill. Keep on truckin'
