Here is a solution...if religion and the restoration of traditional marriage is so important for these discriminatory people, why not at least give homosexuals the same legal rights as those heterosexuals who wish to get married...
call it what you wish domestic partnership, civil union, but at least give them identical rights across the board as those who are "married".

Secondly, I somewhat agree with your proposal....

This issue as of now is not up to the proponents or the opponents of prop 8.
The issue is now in the hands of the courts.
I disagree that the protesters just want to hear their own voices......Ive been to many protests since Nov. 5th where the gathering crowd was nearly silent. Holding candlelight ceremonies, and inviting keynote speakers to encourage the many thousands.
