Abstract:
I'll admit it - I'm one of those people who, while at work or in the computer lab at school, tries to sneak a click at the infamous TMZ Web site just to get caught up on the latest celebrity gossip.
Lately, however, it's been the same old story. Everyone in Hollywood seems to be getting treated for something in rehab, but maybe it's just a new publicity stunt used to boost celebrity fame.

Really? You spend all but two paragraphs of this article rehashing instances of when celebrities have had issues with drugs and alcohol and then offer that they're possibly using to "calm their nerves?"
I work harder than a lot of those celebrities out there (although certainly not all). I hold a full-time job, I have to wake up early and commute, I have to balance my finances so that I can have some fun every once in awhile instead of just using my paycheck to pay the next month's bills. And I probably go out once a week for dinner or a movie or a concert or to the bars, not every night. These celebrities making the headlines for partying too hard have a lot of money and time on their hands, and no sense of responsibility - personal, social or otherwise.
It seems like your article is saying that excessive use of drugs and alcohol are legitimate excuses for having to deal with the constant pressure of living in society's spotlight. And then those who hit rock-bottom and come back up are lucky? Clearly hitting rock-bottom and coming back up again has taught the Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohans absolutely nothing.
