To the average student at Sacramento State, the name Cheng Wang does not ring a bell. However, the phrase "It's'a lunchtime" just might register with more than a few people.
Wang is the charismatic face of the Togo's eatery on campus. He can be found every weekday selling sandwiches on the walkway between the University Union and the Library Quad.

Sure, Sacramento State has the University Union and a bunch of Java City coffee shops, but have you been to the tea room and garden?
Sokiku Nakatani Tea Room and Garden, one of eight university-based tearooms in the nation, opened in June after an anonymous donor had the idea of memorializing his mother's collection of traditional Japanese tea sets and artifacts at Sac State.

Picture this: the sun is shining, you're wearing your shorts, tank top, sandals and shades, and you find a nice spot on a bench in the shade. Now, come back to reality where summer is over and fall has begun.
You know what that means: it's time for big changes.

Who knew cardboard could be used in more ways than boxes?
For Sacramento State students, cardboard was the main ingredient that went into "The Chair Show," a collection of artistic chairs made out of cardboard that is on display in Mariposa Hall through Nov. 19.

Some students believe college is about finding a career in a field they love. Some students just want a degree so they can get a job that pays well. Some students are stuck in between, not knowing whether to follow a career they love or a career that pays well. Which student are you? How much are students sacrificing their happiness to land a good-paying job? How much are students sacrificing job security for a job they love?
Geoffrey Speakman, senior philosophy major, believes that the point of being in college is to find what you love.

In a recent article by "Sacramento News & Review" titled "Sack State," local sports radio commentator Grant Napear said that Sac State has no school spirit, due mostly to the fact that it is a commuter campus. However, as the article's title implies, other people might attribute Sac State's lack of school spirit to a losing football program. But who or what is really to blame for the lack of school spirit on campus? Surely the football team cannot take all the blame for a lack of student involvement in campus athletics. (0) comments
November is here, which means it is time to kick off the Christmas season. What better way to do so then with a new Christmas movie? No Christmas year is complete without a new quirky story about good old Saint Nick. Don't the jolly red guy, and the magic of the season just warm your tummy in a way no other time can? Better yet, ask the man dropkicking a singing Santa Clause lawn ornament. You know it is Christmas time when half of Chicago's Santa's are chasing this guy across the city. Why all the bitterness towards the fat guy? Well, imagine if that holiday icon was your younger brother. (0) comments
When in a romantic relationship, one hopes, it is inevitable that the ultimate act of physical expression is done. It makes no difference whether you call it "making love," "getting down and dirty," or "bumping uglies," the fact of the matter is that you need some good music in order to get the mood right.
