Spring Break
I can still remember how violently ill I got each time I would fill up my gas tank earlier this year. Over $50 per tank, and I drive a small car that gets pretty good gas mileage. Luckily, for now at least, those days are over. (3) comments
While it is gratifying to put 2008 behind us, 2009 cannot be expected to be significantly better - especially in California. We are financially ruined and our state will be urinating red ink and shedding jobs for years to come. But greedy lenders, unqualified homeowners and a credit crisis cannot bear the full burden of blame for our state's economic incompetence. (4) comments
In a year that will certainly be given the historical importance and scrutiny of, say, 1968, or maybe 1929, this foul year has seen every conceivable type of national and international drama unfold. (0) comments
