A little home cooking was what the Sac State Hornet Softball team needed as they defeated the UC Davis Aggies in the first game of a double-header with a thrilling walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning at Shea Field. Sacramento State has turned into a track and field powerhouse in the Big Sky Conference. In 2007 and 2008, the team won three of the four men's and women's championships and will be looking to add to that total this season. (0) comments

Ladies and gentleman, your Sacramento Kings will most likely finish the season with the worst record in the National Basketball Association. No, I'm not a Lakers fan at all, but I'm just keeping it real. With the way the Kings are playing now, they should stop worrying about the present (this season) and focus on the future, and who may be the future of the Kings? Oklahoma Sooners' power forward Blake Griffin. (0) comments
