I came to Sacramento State in the fall of 2006, but it wasn't until spring 2008 that I started to love this place. Faculty and administration were bickering like kids when I first got here and that made for a miserable experience. Had Sylvia Fox not directed me to The State Hornet after the fall 2006 semester, I would have surely dropped out of college. (1) comment
The biggest reason people attend college is to get a degree. People go to attain a higher cultural and intellectual status, hoping that in those four years some of the knowledge and class will seep into their brains. It's not the only way, however. Try to wrap your head around this idea: A school that only takes two years to complete, teaches you what you need to know and leaves you with actual job skills. (1) comment
