In fact, many Americans are not even aware of what it is. One club on campus is doing its part to build awareness of the sport. (1) comment

Back to the old 'Grindhouse'

Grindhouse films were the cheaply-made exploitation films of the 1970s. Directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino have both frequently tipped their hats to the grindhouse era in several of their films. Now they have joined forces to pay a complete tribute to trash cinema with "Grindhouse," a double feature that lovingly recreates the experience for contemporary audiences. (2) comments

Allen smokes, drinks and rocks

Lily Allen concert review

She's a rebel in an unconventional form, but don't be fooled by Lily Allen's short vintage dress, thick headband, or sweet sounding voice. This girl packs a punch (and a middle finger), and if you've ever done her wrong, watch out. (0) comments

Timbaland's solo album lets others shine

Guest artists are real stars of "Timbaland Presents: Shock Value"

Timbaland's solo album lets others shine

The year is 2007, and the last time a true musical virtuoso topped pop charts is difficult to remember. It seems only appropriate, then, that today's chart-topping artists are proficient only in the tools of today's electronic music world: MIDI, drum machines and auto-tune software. Producer, solo artist and former DJ Timbaland is no stranger to these tools, and is taking another step out from behind the mixing console for his second solo offering, "Timbaland Presents: Shock Value," released Tuesday. All Hail the King of Pho

A Restaurant Review

The broth is superior, the difference between Sea Ridge and Two Buck Chuck is the difference between Pho King broth and a variety of other pho places in the area. The pho blends a delicate saltiness with a beef, rather than watery taste, both tastes heightened and made whole by the basil and the green onions, which thickens the broth. (0) comments

I have a lot of girl friends. By that I mean I have a lot of friends who are girls. In fact, most of my friends are girls. I always found the reaction I would get from some people amusing. Most people will either think: "He's a hustler, baby," or that I'm a raging homosexual. (1) comment
