WOW.

This was the most uncomfortable episode this season so far. Religion, homosexuals and crying! My goodness!

Grow up.

This week on the Real World, anger sparked as Trisha confronted her worst enemy: sin.

Since she's been in Australia, she feels as if evil is getting the best of her and is darkening her relationship with God - and it doesn't help that the rest of the group has decided to head to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Shauvon, the peace maker, tries to console her and persuade Trisha that attending an event won't make her a bad person, but later feels offended when she is told Trisha thinks being homosexual is a sin.

As an openly bisexual woman, Shauvon is hurt by Trisha's comments but continues to dance the night away with Isaac, Dunbar and Parisa. For the record, Isaac was a hot mess and it was fantastic!

OK, that's enough of that.

Dunbar, the downer, decides to tell Shauvon how he felt uncomfortable when an old man looked in his direction. Why? His grandfather tried to molest him as a child. Shauvon was blown away by Dunbar's confession and admired him for not letting something so bad affect his life or relationships with people. Uh! Does Shauvon know Dunbar - the Dunbar that blows up at people, has very bad anger management issues and that substitutes his feelings for sarcasm? This may be my psych 101 coming out, but it's making sense right?

Why he felt it was relevant to anything that was going on at the moment? Still something I have no idea about. But venting is apparently necessary for Dunbar, and who better to listen than drunken Shauvon at a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

On the other side of the episode, KellyAnne is stuck with Trisha and Cohutta as they bicker about an asinine issue that occurred between them. What was the issue? Trisha was already uptight about Mardi Gras so anything anyone said or did to her was taken the wrong way.

Poor KellyAnne, wishing she would have gone to Mardi Gras, sits and has the joy of listening to their argument.

Cohutta told Trisha he would keep his distance and thought it was for the better. See, this is why I think he's the smartest one of the bunch!

So, to extend this discussion on the episode, what do you think? I know you're all thinking, 'Rosa, you're so right about everything! I agree with everything you say!,' but I still would love to hear what you all thought of this week's episode and of this blog recap.
