By rebuilding and renovating the horse racing track, Sacramento State and Cal Expo enter an exclusive negotiation window for building a football stadium, with plans to play Hornet football at Cal Expo in 2026.
Sac State will not be merging colleges just yet, instead implementing cost-saving measures to resolve its budget crisis. Other concerns regarding faculty lay-offs, athletics, research funding and DEI programs were discussed.
Co-ordinated by Sac State’s Students for Justice in Palestine, students are partaking in the CSU-wide hunger strike in solidarity with Palestine and demanding the CSU system to divest from companies that supply weapons and surveillance technology.
